The Facility Management Branch is responsible for the process of economically managing facility Operations & Maintenance, Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization activities for Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center and its Medical and Research Support Facilities. Facility Management also encompasses inventory management, requirements identification, requirements management, and project management for various aspects of equipment installation, furniture replacement and initial outfitting of spaces.

Key elements of Facility Management include managing accreditation and regulatory requirements(the Joint Commission), maintaining an accurate real property inventory of facilities, performing facility condition assessments and supporting master planning efforts developing annual and multi-year program requirements, developing project scopes and cost estimates, performing quality assurance, maintaining status of projects, managing maintenance and repair funds, managing utilities and real property services, providing input to InterService Support Agreements, operating the DMLSS-FM system, maintaining accurate data, and responding to the requirements of local commanders and higher headquarters.
