The Fort Gordon recreation complex, called Points West, is located on the beautiful 71,000-acre Clark’s Hill Lake and offers beach volleyball, swimming beach, picnic areas, rental cabins, conference center, and boat storage.

The Augusta area has over 100 miles of single-track mountain biking trails, 120,000-acre Sumter National Forest, the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, five local and state parks. It is also home to the World Championship qualifying Ford Ironman 70.3 triathlon.
Atlanta, historic Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA, and the Great Smokey Mountains are all within a short, three-hour drive.
